Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need any experience to join a weaving class?

No prior experience is required! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to more experienced weavers looking to refine their techniques.

2. What should I bring?

For weekly weaving classes, basic materials are provided to get you started, perfect for beginners! However with a bit of experience, if you have a specific project or colour palette in mind, you may want to source your own yarn beforehand.

We provide most of the materials you'll need for workshops.

A notebook and pen for note taking would be handy!

3. How long is a class or workshop?

Classes run for 2.5 hours on specific days and slots in the week. Weekly classes are ten sessions with a half term break in the middle. There are three terms per year: Spring, Summer and Autumn.

Workshops typically run for 6 hours with an hour break, typically 10am - 4pm. The exact duration will be mentioned in the workshop details, but we always ensure there's enough time for learning, practice, and Q&A.

5. Can I book a private session or one-to-one?

Private sessions are available for individuals or small groups. You can schedule a session based on your availability and specific needs, whether you want to focus on a specific technique or get one-on-one guidance. Please contact us for availability.
