Terms and Conditions
Classes & Workshops

Last updated: 26 April 2025

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a class or workshop with Weavers Works. By booking a class or workshop, you agree to these terms.

Booking and Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

  • A non-refundable deposit of 20% is included in the class or workshop fee to cover administrative costs.

  • Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If bookings are not available you can contact us to be added to our waiting list.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received.

  • If you need to cancel your booking:

    • More than 14 days before the workshop or class date: you will receive a refund of the balance, minus the non-refundable deposit (20% of the class/workshop fee).

    • 14 days or less before the workshop or class: no refund will be given unless we are able to fill your place, or the opportunity to transfer to another date.

  • If we are able to rebook your place, you will receive a refund of the balance paid, minus the non-refundable deposit (20% of the class/workshop fee).

  • You may send someone else in your place if you cannot attend. Please inform us of their name and contact details before the workshop or class.

  • In the unlikely event that Weavers Works needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop or class (due to low numbers, illness, or unforeseen circumstances), you will receive a full refund, including your deposit, or the opportunity to transfer to another date.

Class/Workshop Attendance

  • Workshops and classes are primarily for adults aged 18 and over.

  • Some workshops and classes may allow participants under the age of 18 to attend, provided they are accompanied by a responsible caregiver or guardian throughout the session.

  • If you wish to bring a participant under 18, please contact us in advance to confirm suitability and discuss any specific requirements.

  • If you happen to arrive late, we will do our best to help you catch up, but please note that we may not be able to extend the session or adjust the schedule.

Health, Safety, and Accessibility

  • Our handweaving workshops and classes are low risk, but we still ask all participants to follow any health and safety instructions provided by the instructor during the session.

  • If you have any medical conditions, allergies, or accessibility needs that may affect your participation, please inform us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.

  • While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participants are responsible for their own safety during the class or workshop.

Materials and Equipment

  • All necessary materials and equipment are provided unless otherwise stated.

  • Any items or work created during the workshop or class are yours to take home.

  • Please handle all equipment with care. If equipment is damaged due to misuse, you may be asked to cover the cost of repair or replacement.

Photography

  • Weavers Works may take photographs during workshops and classes for promotional use on our website, social media, and printed materials.

  • If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the tutor at the start of the class or workshop.
